I'm an early riser and rather than just watching tv I go for an early morning walk and that was the case with this shot taken before 5 AM down at the Forks in Winnipeg.

I liked the ghostly shape of the trees highlighted by the strung lights, the lights reflecting off the icy walkway and the paintlike feel of the image with applied effects.
