I managed to get 4 shots at sunset on October 16th with the opening image looking directly north over the downtown skyline of Winnipeg while the following 3 are taken looking west.

I was thinking of the color in these sunset shots on Friday when I was walking around downtown Winnipeg as the snow fell, the temperatures fell and the wind was nearly strong enough to make walking standing straight very difficult.

The color of these last two sunset images will serve to see me through the months ahead when most evenings will be cloudy with a snow covered ground.

This is the view on Thursday morning that brought the previous sunset colors to mind. Dull overcast day with the snow starting to fall, a wind out of the north and below freezing temperatures.

OP especially nice.

Those prairie skies don't look very tranquil. One wonders how much of this turbulence is the result of increased CO2? The skies here in Ottawa don't look quite the same as I remember, compared to 50 years ago. They are all nice shots but the OP looks more interesting to me.

Nice shots, Jan! The sunset colors are beautiful, and I like the Thursday morning shot,
as well.

I would ask the same curious question as Sandi. Your apartment (balcony?)
affords you some wonderful views.
