Not sure of the type of clouds that I captured in this sunset image as I look west from my apartment. I went with altocumulus but I stand to be corrected.

I was struck by their form and their color and with the sun partially hidden behind clouds off camera to the right those colors and forms were enhanced for me.

I liked the other worldly feel that these effects created with the original posted image.

I took this shot with the sun partially breaking through at the centre. This cloud formation stretching away to the west while towards the east the clouds were of a more regular shape.

I thought , at first, that the three vertical lines at the lower right
of the photo were human figures....and I think I'll keep that image in
my head . It adds scale and perspective for me. The 2nd post , with
your edited colors, is my favorite.

I think those three vertical lines are ventilation pipes on top of the buildings... just took a look via a telephoto lens and that's what they look like at least to my eye.

Thank you Sandi for viewing and commenting. It was really just fortunate that I happened to look out my apartment window and noticed the rather unusual nature of the cloud formations off to the west. A glance in the other direction revealed nothing out of the ordinary. My 25th floor vantage point really gives me some clear views to the east, west and north and then there are days when you rewarded with views such as those in these images.

I like it but it is too over processed.

The OP is especially pretty!

Perhaps not an unusual cloud formation but unusual to my eye.
