An abstract created from a partial view of a Croton leaf that I spotted at the Assiniboine Park Conservatory. I liked the sense of flames and the reflective nature of the water that I was able to create from the original leaf.

Not sure exactly what was inside the block of ice but it looked all the world like the largest fly that one has ever seen.

MELT was an outdoor exhibition.

B&W image of the layers creating the Stackhouse warming hut. Just liked the fractured nature of the various ice layers that make up this wall of the Stackhouse.

Some extremes here.....From lakes of fire to blocks of ice.
I was looking for some Hitchcock movie titles to link to the
images.....I thought maybe pyro/psycho for the fire but was stuck for a
movie title for the ice images ... :-)
