Tales of the red moon 10
Comments by Gerry Vrbensky on Tue, 02/12/13 11:48 Very clever, nicely done. Comments by Jan Bjorklund on Tue, 02/12/13 12:26 I like the manner in which you have incorporated the separate elements to make a coherent whole that tells a story to the viewer when they view your composition. I was wondering if the hint of a horizon line would add to or take away from your creation... I just find myself wanting a suggestion of separation between the moon and the silhouetted bird on the boat. Comments by Linda Frey on Tue, 02/12/13 12:52 Nicely done, Maria. Comments by Sandi MacDonald on Tue, 02/12/13 14:32 Looks like you had a lot of fun doing this one!;-) Comments by G.B. SHETTLER on Tue, 02/12/13 16:17 A LOvely Peaceful Comp with Great color combinations. You can still see some edging issues with the bird. I am not sure if you use a Pen and tablet with your photography work. If not - you should give it a try. Depending how you are adding images in you can/should always use fade for the edges. Or you can blow up to 200% and clone or lightly use some blur. Stuff like that that can always help. Comments by Pietro Cecchi on Wed, 02/13/13 10:52 Delightful composition, Maria... :)
Comments by Michael Meek on Wed, 02/13/13 11:10 The moon and the cormorant overwhelm the boat in size but not in impact. Nothing but curves in this picture! Elegant. Comments by Nathan Leonard Kern on Fri, 02/15/13 11:29 I think a definate horizon could bedistracting & best left to our imagination.I see no problem with the bird.I like the picture.
