I like the sense of Spring that you captured in this image (the buds are just starting to come into play, there is that color to wash away the drab feel left in our mouths and soul by a too long winter), the hint of a pathway that invites the viewer to step into the image and go for a walk through the springtime setting (remember to wear your boots if you're going), and the painterly feel of the composition.

Hi Linda,
I like your spring picture of the woods. Looks very peaceful. Maybe you will have better luck with your spring than we did here in Alabama. Just as all the pretty flowers were about to bud and show us their pretty faces, a 20 degree freeze happened two nights in a row! This picture reminds me of our pretty spring before the chill.

Reminds me of Robert Glenn Ketchum's work. Busy but in an orderly way if that makes any sense. I scrolled enough to crop out the sky in the URHC and IMO it's a subtle improvement.

Lovely capture of the beauty of nature.

lovely, I cropped from the upper left side or of the photo leaving about two thirds of the
photo, excluded the right side trees and barren bush, I liked it better

Understated and all the better for it. Nice work, Linda.

Lovely.

Must be spring if you are climbing trees to get photos like this:@}

Almost looks like a path going up through there - The cropping suggestions are right on - good one!

I agree with Jeff's crop suggestion. Lovely line from the curve of the hill.

I think part of the appeal of Linda's images is the intimacy and the relationship she seems to be able to establish with the subject. Way to go girl!

Before reading the comments I was another of those contemplating a bit of a crop from the top. A subtle scene of beauty here. Good one!

the sky as is connects with the white trees and provides an expansiveness. it also provides direction for the composition.

I like the contrast of the yellow berries in FG with the trunks of the Silver Birch? in the BG. It has a nice painterly feel about it.

Nice height (location) for this shot. Nice photo Linda. Are you sure this isn't "Trees 4693" :-)

I think it is beautiful just as it is, Linda. IS that a path?

Beautiful to me, just as is.
