I like this image when set against a grey background. The perspective you adopted for the photograph picks up the columns and creates a sense of flow in the picture which works to lead the eyes of the viewer from the right to the left. The available light works to accentuate that sense of flow. There is the feel of a finely crafted pencil drawing created by the b&w format.

What I would call a good cool clean shot which seems to fit with the nature of the architecture. Well done.

I like the lighting which brings out texture of the stone and the symmetry.

It could be a well done pencil drawing, Debbi. I love the tones and how the shaddowing increases on each arch as they come toward the camera. Wonderful!

Excellent capture of the architecture, and a figure in there would be a plus.

Very well composed, with excellent lighting and perfect perspective control (or correction?). A fine architectural photograph!

I would like to thank everyone for their gracious comments! :-)

Ruth, I believe a few posts back, I posted a similar image with a woman walking through it.
